What a password manager actually has to get right
Most people don't abandon a password manager because it lacks features. They abandon it because filling a login takes too many taps, or because they hit a limit on how much they can store, or because they lost the master password and there was no way back.
KeyMe Pass is built around those three failure points. Storage is unlimited and free. AutoFill works on every platform we ship. And a recovery key means a forgotten master password is recoverable rather than fatal.
How your data is protected
Everything is encrypted on your device before it is written or synced. We move ciphertext only — we hold no key that can read your vault, which also means we cannot recover it for you if both your master password and recovery key are gone.

What's free and what isn't
We'd rather be blunt about this than have you find out after installing. Storing and using your passwords is free, with no cap on entries. Membership exists for one reason: getting the same vault onto more than one device.

A way back from a lost master password

Common questions
Is KeyMe Pass really free, or is it a trial?
It is free, not a trial. There is no time limit and no cap on how many passwords, IDs or 2FA codes you store — biometric unlock and encrypted export are free too. Membership only adds multi-device sync and hosted cloud space.
Do I need an account to use it?
No. The app is local-first and fully usable with no account and no network connection. You only need an account if you want to sync your vault across devices.
What happens if I forget my master password?
Use your recovery key, which is generated when you first set up the vault. Keep it somewhere safe and offline. If both the master password and the recovery key are lost, nobody — including us — can decrypt your data.
Can you see my passwords?
No. Everything is encrypted on your device before it is stored or synced, and the key is derived from your master password, which never leaves your device. The server only ever holds ciphertext it cannot read.
Can I import from another password manager?
Yes. KeyMe Pass imports from JSON and CSV exports, which covers most password managers. See the help centre for the per-app steps.
Which platforms are supported?
iOS, Android, macOS and HarmonyOS, plus a browser extension for Chrome, Edge and other Chromium browsers.
