Why HarmonyOS users are stuck for options
If you moved to a Huawei device running HarmonyOS, you have probably discovered that most of the well-known password managers simply are not there. Their apps target Android and iOS, and a HarmonyOS build never followed — so the usual advice you find online does not apply to you.
The fallback is uncomfortable: keep passwords in a notes app, reuse a handful you can remember, or stay on an Android phone you no longer want. KeyMe Pass exists partly because we did not think that was an acceptable set of choices.
What you actually get on HarmonyOS
This is not a cut-down port. The HarmonyOS build carries the same vault, the same encryption and the same item types as every other platform we ship.

Being straight about the limits
Two things work differently on HarmonyOS than on iOS or Android, and we would rather you know before installing than feel misled afterwards.
- Passkeys (WebAuthn/FIDO2) are not available on HarmonyOS. Passkey support depends on the operating system opening a third-party credential provider interface, which HarmonyOS does not currently offer. Passwords, 2FA and everything else work normally.
- System-level AutoFill behaves differently from Android's. Where the system does not hand off to a third-party provider, you copy from the app instead — one extra step, and everything still stays inside the encrypted vault.

The most common reason people find us: they searched for a password manager for their Huawei phone and there was almost nothing to choose from. We publish a real HarmonyOS build on AppGallery, not a web wrapper.
Your data is not on our servers in readable form
Everything is encrypted on your device with a key derived from your master password. The master password never leaves the device, so what reaches storage is ciphertext we cannot read.
Free where it matters
Unlimited storage on the free tier — no cap on how many passwords, IDs or 2FA codes you keep. Membership exists for multi-device sync, not to ration your vault.
Not a HarmonyOS island
If you carry a Huawei phone and use a Mac or an iPad, the same vault syncs across all of them, end-to-end encrypted.

Does KeyMe Pass run on HarmonyOS NEXT?
Yes. We publish a HarmonyOS build on Huawei AppGallery. Search for KeyMe Pass in AppGallery, or use the download page on this site.
Can I use passkeys on HarmonyOS?
Not currently. Passkeys require the operating system to expose a third-party credential provider interface, and HarmonyOS does not offer one yet. Passwords, 2FA codes, IDs and notes all work normally, and passkeys will follow if the platform opens that interface.
Does autofill work on HarmonyOS?
It depends on the app or page you are filling. HarmonyOS handles third-party fill differently from Android, so where the system does not hand off to us you copy the credential from the app instead. Your data stays encrypted in the vault either way.
Can I sync between my Huawei phone and an iPhone or Mac?
Yes, with a membership. Sync is end-to-end encrypted, so the same vault appears on HarmonyOS, Android, iOS and macOS while the server only ever holds ciphertext.
Can I move my passwords over from another password manager?
Yes. KeyMe Pass imports JSON and CSV exports, which covers Chrome, 1Password, Bitwarden, LastPass and most others. The help centre has the per-app steps.
Do I need a Huawei account or a KeyMe Pass account?
Neither, to get started. The app is local-first and fully usable offline with no account at all. You only need a KeyMe Pass account if you want to sync to other devices.
